Demanding customers developed LBC
What’s happening, where’s the delivery, how much will it cost? LBC Frakt Värmland’s customers set high demands on transportation. Because LBC Frakt had previously integrated its transport management system with Vehco’s Co-Driver there was a rapid communication path between transport management and drivers.
It was just a matter of developing the system, all in order to have a simple ordering and reporting system. The solution was simple. Customers fill in their orders in an excel document that’s emailed to the transport manager at LBC Frakt. The orders are then imported to the transport management system. Co-Driver sends the information to the vehicles and the drivers access the orders using PDAs. The volume of goods and any discrepancies are reported immediately. This is information that can be immediately sent to customers.
Customers wanted faster feedback, better cost overview and be able to monitor their orders. They got it. And LBC Frakt tied in its old customers and acquired new ones thanks to a fully developed offer.
