Effective cooperation and checking emissions for Akkafrakt

Sales of SEK 1 billion and investment in Co-Driver from Vehco for 650 trucks. Akkafrakt LBC has annual sales of around SEK 1 billion through the acquisition of Netlogistic and the Malmö-based company is now one of southern Sweden’s biggest transport and logistics companies. The main reason for investing in Co-Driver from Vehco was all about communication. In other words getting administration and transport to cooperate more effectively when sending information between office and vehicle. For example with waybills, time reports, messages and receipts from customers for complete delivery of goods. Everything is now digital in the vehicles with Co-Driver installed.

Akkafrakt’s aim is for all their vehicles that need it to have mobile computers installed by no later than 2010. The project that Akkafrakt started will run for three years and mean a change to the way the entire organisation works. Akkafrakt wants to develop the highest degree of user benefit possible. Akkafrakt has chosen to install order handling, navigation, fuel consumption monitoring, eco-driving, fast messaging, time reports, positioning and tracking, by using Co-Driver from Vehco.

Akkafrakt’s customers can now also get more detailed, safe information about the transport’s environmental impact and advanced emission reports, which is something that more customers want and also a natural development of an increasingly environmentally-aware society.
